Woman with an Agenda…
I am drawn to strong, bold, and non-traditional female roles. I frequently play female characters that speak freely, embrace their sexuality, and challenge the societal structures that inhibit them.
I’ve trained in both classical and musical theatre styles as a mezzo-soprano; however, contemporary musical theatre feels like home.

Despite my deep love for performance, my journey to becoming an actor was very untraditional.
Growing up, there were very limited performance opportunities for me to hone my craft. I joined my first musical cast at the age of 15 and received most of my musical experiences through high-school choir. Because of this, pursuing a career performance never even occurred as a possibility for me. And so, I attended school for music education.
During my undergraduate career with the support of my professors and growth of my skills, I realized that I not only loved teaching, but I also loved performance. I settled on pursuing grad school after finishing my education degree.
In the application process, I was relatively set on pursuing a degree in classical performance. Luckily, the universe intervened and connected me with my true love(s): New York City and the art of musical theatre.
And so, I began to develop who I was as an artist at the ripe age of 23. Since then, I have developed a deep love for new works and contemporary theatre.
My journey has barely begun and I'm excited to see where life takes me from here.

I'm a big fan of spending quality time with friends, staying up to date on the latest television shows and horror films, lover of all felines (but particularly my son, Miko), enjoying a spicy chai latte, and sparking a healthy debate about the most trivial of topics.
